Amazing Summer Flowers at Our Shop

Amazing Summer Flowers at our store in Princeton, NJ. The one thing that never gets old for me is viewing pretty  flowers . When I go on vacation, I stop to look at flowers. When I'm at home, I read flower books. When I'm at work, I ooohh and aahh over the pretty stems in the shop. Let's face it, my job is pretty awesome! A big part of my daily responsibilities is sharing our products on Social Media and that is no hard task! Imagine being a plumber or lawyer? Talk about having a "hard" product to showcase. Luckily, I have not only brightly color blooms but fun and inspirational giftware to show.  This  summer  the sunflowers have been spectacular and the other flowers aren't shabby either. This design includes other flowers such as spray roses, tea roses, stock, spider mums and even tropical protea. Designer Alanna got this pretty shot on the side walk looking down. We're thinking that whoever gets this design is gonig to be pretty happy about it.

Who Wants a Pink Wedding?

We do, we do and so does our Bride Heidi and her new hubby Michael who were married Saturday in Lambertville NJ !!  Starting with Heidi's bridal bouquet of soft ivory tea roses, dahlias and peony. The bride's maid's carried bouquets of soft creamy white hydrangea and pale pink Valerie roses.   The reception was held at the Lambertville Station Inn in and the guest tables had 3 different styles of centerpieces including this one of crystal candle holders and pink flowers.   Mirrored cube vases filled lushly with pink hydrangea and roses .   The head table boasted a centerpiece that was 12 feet long filled with pink hydrangeas, peony and roses.   The place card table was a soft dome of all pink hydrangeas with hanging crystals.

Ranunculus Flowers

Ranunculus, one of the most asked for flowers by our brides , these soft ruffled blooms made great a great addition to hand tied bouquets. This week has us using these amazing pink ones in our design work and they are so beautiful, wouldn't you agree?  The Meaning and Symbolism of Ranunculus Native to Asia and celebrated for their medicinal properties as well as their amazing bright beauty, the small camellia like ranunculus ranges from white to pink, red to yellow to orange. Also known as Buttercut and Coyotes eyes, legend has it that the mythological Coyote was tossing eyes up in the air and then catching them when an Eagle flew by and snatched them up. Unable to see, Coyote created eyes from a Buttercup.  Flowers make amazing gifts for Summer Birthday, Get Well or just to say "Thinking of You". Couples like Rachel and Dion are the type of bride and groom that make what I do a real joy. Not only was it a delight to work with Rachel and her mother but I loved everything they chose! Take Rachel's bouquet for example: Orange roses, peach spray roses, cream ranunculus and dahlias, peach stock, mini calla lilies and touches of peach berries - oh the lovely colors and textures! She loved her bouquet and we could not have been happier!   Their wedding reception took place at the Princeton Marriott and had  vintage book theme. I loved the old card catalog that Rachel found at a Library. She used it for the escort cards - how cute!! Some touches of ivy, their engagement photo and an orange and peach floral arrangement made for a sweet display.  For their tables we created 3 different styles of centerpieces. This style had three different sizes of candle holders, each with an amber underwater light and a floating candle. Touches of petals and ivy trails and a books her
