Wedding in White

This red bouquet might look familiar from a previous blog post but I wanted to update and share the reception photos. The brides maids all carried bouquets of white Vendela roses which looked so pretty with her fabulous red bouquet!  The centerpieces were styled in two different ways. The low centerpieces were hydrangea and roses arranged cleaning and simply in a clear glass cylinder vase. The matching above eye level pieces were hydrangeas, roses, hanging amaranthus and curly willow placed up onto our elegant clear glass pilsner vases.  Alex and her family hired us to hang these huge lanterns along the tent and they lit up when the lights came down. In the Hands of an Artist

All white , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . Well, if you see the blog below you'll see designer Samantha just beginning to create this bouquet and so I thought you'd enjoy seeing the finished product. I have to say, this is probably one of my favorites this year but hey, I say that a lot! What I like about this bouquet is that it's so simple but then it has interesting elements and quite a bit of bling added for bride Holly at her request. Simple white roses and mini callas accented with geranium foliage. Add the rhinestone accents and this bouquet really transforms from ordinary to something quite special.

When in Doubt, Keep it Simple

Vendella roses , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . Roses, glorious roses. I meet with so many brides that have trouble deciding on what flowers to carry but you have to admit, this bouquet is pretty. Simple, elegant, timeless and down right affordable, a simple hand tied bouquet of roses is always a lovely choice. Looking for something with a bit more bling? Just add some flower jewelry between the roses. What about accents of pearls at the center of each rose? Winter wedding and looking for an ice look? How about adding an touch of sparkle with glitter? Looking to soften the look a bit? Add a rim of soft white feathers or even a pretty foliage such as plumosa fern for a more casual feel. When in doubt, keep it simple and roses are always a wonderful choice!
