Fun with Before and After Photos

Image
If you are in the process of planning an event , I'm going to take a guess and say that you probably feel both overwhelmed and over spent. We work with folks hosting events all the time and the common thread seems to be making choices and wondering if spending money on decor is worth it. Although, I'd be the last person to talk you into decorations you don't want, nor can afford, I truly believe that the decor services we provide really help events "feel and look" more special. Take the photo below of a recent prom. I'm sure without the decor the kids would still have a great time but doesn't the room on the right look much more festive?  I think the point becomes what can you afford to do to decorate your special event . Taking any budget you have and doing the most with it can take a little thought and pre-planning but it's worth it. Does a wedding , Mitzvah, Prom or other party need flowers and/or balloons to make the event complete? Certainly

Party Time Once Again

Image
We love April and May at the store because of all the fun parties we get to decorate! Our designers were  hard at work making centerpieces today.  Blue and white centerpieces for a corporate meeting. Love the blue iris! Folks are loving all the bright colors at this time of the year. I'll bet these looked sharp on the tables.  To see these and more example of our party floral centerpieces, be sure to visit our event website at www.mondaymorningballoons.com

A Weekend of Parties

Image
We can't believe how many parties we had this past weekend. Everything from Showers, Anniversary and Birthday parties... we really had some fun clients this weekend. Pink was the hot ticket with more than half of them including some shade of pink. Take this piece below at Tre Bar. What a fun arrangement to greet the guests when they arrive. Designer Norman went crazy with the silver and pink on this one!  This gorgeous piece below in shades of creams, pinks and burgundy really looked elegant at the Cranbury Inn. We also loved the small mercury glass cups that also decorated this long, square table.   Designer Holly really did a beautiful job on these pieces, don't you think?  Balloons are always a bit hit for January parties because they add so much color. This Bat Mitzvah held on Saturday at Salt Creek Grill really got a color blast with these lavender, silver and purple polka dot balloons.    This birthday girl must have felt like a queen with these "cr

Special Events in Princeton, NJ

Image
It may be Christmas around her but if you are within 50 miles of Princeton University, you are bound to see some Black and Orange, like at this event we just created centerpieces for. We love working with the folks at the University ~ both Staff and Students and it's we are always looking for creative and affordable ways to do up the Tiger theme of Black and Orange.  These centerpieces were designed in plastic black footed bowls using roses, berries, lotus bods and cat tails with a few unusual painted craspedia and pin cushion proteas. Designed with a touch of boxwood, they look seasonal while still being well within the Princeton zone!   Nope it's not Halloween - it's an event at Princeton University!  To see this and more of our event decor for businesses, school and social ~ Be sure to check out event website at www.mondaymorningballoons.com

Before and After

What I love most about Balloon Decorations  is how visual they are for a relatively low cost. Take this event for example ~ this room at Green Acres Country Club is lovely but a bit plain. Now enter a "Global ~ Earth" themed event for the YMCA this past week, add a few well placed balloons and you have....  This! Simple, single balloon centerpieces - using a "Bubble Earth Balloon" attached onto a basic balloon weight. The smaller tables had just the balloon centerpieces while the larger tables had a 12" wide and low cylinder vase filled with glass gems, under water lights (green and blue, of course) and 5 floating candles. Imagine how magical this will look when the sun goes down and the lights really begin to show.    The extra floating candles really add a glow - I can only imagine what they looked like when they were lit!    Taking our inspiration from the invitation (which looked similar to these favors below) we went full on with the Earthly t

Choose New Jersey Event

Image
We love last minute corporate gigs like this one for Choose NJ, which is located here in the Princeton Forrestal Village. A bit more about Choose NJ later. Anyway, looking to brighten up their offices for a office grand opening tonight, they contacted us yesterday to see if we might be able to provide them with fresh floral decor. Can we do that??? Is the sky blue!! We live to do that! As you can see, Design Manager Holly went to town making festive arrangements to decorate the event.  This will greet guests as they arrive! The coffee table piece below just adds a touch of color and freshness to the entrance sitting area.  How cool is this, our amazing state and touting all the wonderful reasons to have a business in New Jersey!  The piece below was a colorful addition to the board room. A touch of fresh spring flowers really livened up an otherwise, colorless room. They just might love it so much that may want flower every week - a flower girl like me can only hope.  Y

Just a Bit of Purple

Image
Over a year ago I wrote a blog that focused on the Color Purple (hey, wasn't that a movie with Whoopie Goldberg and Oprah) and here we are beginning a new year and the color purple is still hot, hot, hot!! I've been meeting with brides left and right and the color purple is still showing up as dominate color for this year in wedding designs. The above centerpieces were created for our very own Sheryl's sisters wedding. Everything was purple, including the floral centerpieces that were made from hydrangeas in a variety of shading. This bouquet being made by our designer has pops of purple statice along with rich red roses and deep blue delphinium.  These simple brides maids bouquets were just the perfect shade to match their deep purple/fuchsia gowns.  Bride Naomi wanted a Royal feel to her wedding day and so we took apart purple hydrangea blooms and sprinkled them down the aisle at the Nassau Inn.  Two different shades of purple daisies created these
