Elegant but Organic Wedding Flowers

Image
I can not take credit in any way for this stunning bouquet. Customer Care Coordinator Alexis assisted Bride Stephanie's Sister, who was in charge of ordering her flowers. Together they chose the color theme of peach, cream and light corals with accents of silver. Three shades of roses ~ Ivory Vendela, Peach Versillia and Coral Amsterdam roses were accented with white bouvardia, peach berreis and silvery dusty miller and cut succulent plants. The bride's maids and flower girls carried similar bouquet but smaller.  For the men we create boutonnieres using similar flowers with the groom having an ivory rose to make him stand out among the men. Roses, berries bouvardia and cut min succulent plants wrapped with twine and a touch of dusty miller foliage along the back. Designer Jeneen creating all the boutonnieres while Lead Designer Alanna created all the bridal boqueuts. Organic but elegant, wouldn't you agree?

Scottish Themed Boutonniere

Image
This past week we had the pleasure of working on a small wedding with a cool twist. The groom, who is Scottish was able to provide us with a bit of his very own family tartan! His flower, pictured hear included lots of natural elements such as deep blue thistle, seeded eucalyptus, a loop of curly willow, a pheasant feather and red hypericum berries. A light accent of his family tartan was added, which matched the brides bouquet that also had the fabric wrapped down her flower stems. Who said boutonnieres have to be boring? This one certainly helped the groom express his family history and his personality! Pincushion Protea

Image
Imagine these cool, tropical flowers added among more common blooms for your wedding. Are you daring enough to do it? I say yes, go for it! Imagine a bouquet of two toned orange and yellow roses such as "Circus" hand tied together with these textured beauties. Looking for something cool to float for a summery wedding, how about a cube with river stones and single Protea head? Tuck them into the reception napkins or even multiple of these tied off with raffia or streaming ribbons for the brides maids. Dot in yellow billy balls for added texture or even pair them with Mango Mini Callas for a modern, funky feel. Loops of lily grass for a structured modern look or curls of curly willow for a for a natural vibe. Love them or hate them, they can no longer be ignored!!
