Sunny Yellow Flowers

Image
They say there is a hurricane coming but for now this bright and sunny bridal bouquet that we created for bride Jennie this past weekend is a beacon of sunshine, don't you think? I love all the fall colors and monochromatic floral designs for events and everyday are super popular right now, with Yellow leading the pack. We've added lots of new arrangements to our website for Fall so if you know someone under the weather or having a birthday , be sure to check out what is new. Here's  hoping that Hurricane Sandy is more hype than wind and rain!

A Back Yard Wedding In September

Image
What a glorious day Patrick and Amber had for their back yard wedding. Setting the stage was the mother and father of the bride's farm  in Hopewell, NJ with lovely views in all directions of fresh green grass and lush trees. The perfect setting for a late September wedding  The bridal party all carried gerbera daisy bouquets. Yellow for the brides maid's and white for the bride. Yellow with accents of greens and creams was the over all color theme for the day.   After driving up a long driveway lined with hanging mason jars filled with yellow solidago asters and tiny white daisies the guests were led past the entrance to the home out into the side yard for the ceremony. This fresh flower wreath and potted mums helps set the tone for the rustic elegance of the decor to come.  When I met with Mother of the Bride Lisa at the family home I was taken by the large, open side yard with it's majestic tree. What a wonderful backdrop for the ceremony....

Yellow button mum kissing balls

Image
How cute are these kissing balls made of yellow buttons? Made for last weeks bride, Andrea, they hung on the ends of the pews at St. James Church. Andrea's mom said they collected them after the ceremony and brought them to reception to add a little accent of color here and there. "The guests not only took all the flower arrangements at the end of the night, they even took the pomanders", said mother of the bride Pat when she came in today to hand deliver a thank you note. The perfect compliment because the guests loved them enough to take them home. To view more of our wedding designs visit our wedding website at http://www.perfectweddingflowers.com/
