Flowers and Mom's Day ~ May 12, 2019

Image
Whether you can or can't be with your Mom this Mother's Day ~ sending fresh flowers to either her home or work is never a bad idea. Nothing makes a woman feel more appreciated and special than when our driver pulls up with a fresh flower bouquet complete with your personal message. Mother's Day is May 12, 2019 this year! Have you checked out all our new designs we have added in time for this years Mother's Day holiday ?  Every year we are surprised by what our clients choose for their mother and this year's trend seems to be our "Mono-Floral" designs. What is that, you may ask? It's when the design has all the same type of flowers but perhaps in different colors. A few of the designs pre-selling very well are our all Orchid design, our Amazing Alstroemeria Vases and our simple but elegant all Spray Rose Bouquets. Have you seen a design on our site that your mother would love? Open and delivering 7 days a week to town such as Princeton, Lawrencevil...

Finally, the Sun is Out!

With all the terrible things going on in the world today, it certainly is not a good idea for me to complain about my little pleasant world but it's so nice to finally have a semi-warm day with a shining sun. Here at the shop in Princeton Forrestal Village we are recovering from a very busy Administrative Professionals Holiday week and getting the store ready for Mother's Day . It's always fun when the weather clears up enough for us to place some of our plants and gift ware outside.  If you would like to see all our new Mother's Day offerings for 2015, feel free to check out website at www.sendingsmiles.com . Take peek at both our Mother's Day and Mother's Day Premium categories for great gift ideas. We hope to serve you soon!!

Working in the flower shop

The cooler , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . Have you ever said - "I'd love to work in a flower shop"? I'll bet at one time or the other you have because why wouldn't you? It smells nice, we are surrounded by flowers and we make people happy. Mother's day is awesome for us florists because we help all of you say thank you to your moms. Colorful flowers in pinks and lavenders, helium filled balloons, yummy chocolates and pretty blooming plants just flew out of the shop this week. Each were hand delivered to happy mothers with special messages of thanks, love and adoration. Want proof? Well, here was our cooler one night at closing. Each day our cooler filled up like this and each morning as the drivers filed in, the cooler was emptied out. Thank you to our customers who have made our 22nd Mother's Day such a success. We sincerely hope we brought a smile to many faces this holiday!

Mother's Day , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . Wondering what to get mom for her big day? Of course, every woman loves flowers - tulips, roses, daisies, lilies and gerber daisies are fun to receive at work or home. What about sending a goodie basket with fun shaped cookies and chocolates? Another option might be a fun balloon bouquet of all brightly colored latex with a few "Happy Mother's Day Mylars". Add a cuddly stuffed animal for something fun or even a small blooming plant to brighten her environment. Put your message on a full size greeting card and make the gift even more memorable. Tiny Nosegays

Image
Tiny Nosegays , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . Can't decide if you want mom to wear flowers at your wedding? How about considering a small hand tied bouquet for her instead of a corsage? These little nosegays were easy to carry, looked nice in photos and held up nicely all day long. Roses are a wonderful choice and by adding interesting foliage and/or ribbon, they go from ordinary to something special. Going to prom soon? Why not ask you date for a hand tied bouquet instead of a wrist corsage? They look wonderful in pictures and allow your florist to be creative to match your gown colors. Stand out and do something a bit different. I'll bet everyone will notice!
