Sending Sympathy and Funeral Flowers

Sending SympathyThis year has held major changes for everyone ~ that include the loss of a loved one. The loss of a family member or friend can be emotional and something we do not take lightly. It's trying to share beautiful floral arrangements during a time of loss. We know that floral pieces help bring family members closure and we wanted share. Arrangements get showcased on Instagram and Facebook because we know most people are at a loss of what to send and we are here to help.  We work closely with many local funeral homes, J Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Mather-Hodge Funeral Home - to name a few. Below is a large full casket piece. All white flowers including roses, gardenias, orchids, hydrangea and other flowers:

All white floral designs are a popular theme due to their elegance and natural look. This piece below is the matching basket to the above casket piece:
Colored flowers help bring brightness to a somber setting, provide conversation and a tranquil focal point and these …

Our December Instagram Feed

Another month of fun Instagram photos. Thought I'd share the behind the scenes from December!  Here a photographer posts a photo of a bridal bouquet we created in November and we share it on our feed!  Our Princeton store decorated for the holiday season!
Kevin and Alanna build a balloon archway for a non-profit awards breakfast in Woodbridge. This is a new frame for us and it really turned out great. It's 12 feet tall!!
A winter wedding of teals and white, snowflakes and birch branches at Old York Country Club in Bordentown, NJ.
A 3 foot tall boxwood tree decorated with real peacock feathers  for the Princeton Residence Inn. Even the ribbon had the peacock feather design!
We held 3 design classes during the month of December including this wreath making class. The students really did a great job.
Design Alanna went out to a club meeting for a demonstration and then then attendees bought what she made.
Lots of holiday themed floral designs leaving the shop, like this on…

Scenes from the Shop Mid December!

It's that time of year. Can you believe it's less than 2 weeks to Christmas? It's warm outside today as I write this but it's very festive and wintry at the shop. Here's a peek into our world this month! This morning I added a table of gift ideas and stocking stuffers under $10. Candy, nuts and cookies along with ornaments, mugs, figurines and more.   This week's $5 Friday were winter bouquets of carnations, thistle berries and baby's breath.   We still have lots of Christmas signs, boxwood trees and wreaths.   Today we made a star arch for an awards breakfast.  We just got in some new jewelry like this stone necklace for only $9.99  Gold mercury glass is all the rage and we have them in different shapes and sizes.   It's the time of year when Bling is In!   Lots and lots of poinsettia's waiting to be delivered in the drivers ramp.   On December 7th we hosted a holiday centerpiece design class and the ladies had a ball. This was a private class org…

A November Wedding in Lambertville

One of our most favorite Wedding venues is the Inn at Lambertville Station. We not only love the setting but working with Melle and her team is amazing. Early November had us creating gorgeous floral designs for Allison and her new husband Chris. The chuppah was provided by Adams Rental and we added light touches of orange mokara orchids for a simple but elegant look.  Moving into the Ballroom, we created 2 different styles of centerpieces ~ one high and one low, like these cylinder vases filled with orchids and grass with a simple burgundy ribbon wrap.   The tall floral displays were created in our 28" tall candle holders with fresh curly willow and 20 stems of long orange mokara orchids. Even the branches had orchid accents and of course a double burgundy ribbon wrap.   Chris and Allison toast to their marriage. I love how her bouquet looks on the table.   The photographer for the wedding was Isabel March and she did a fantastic job capturing not only the pretty flowers but th…
