Flower Centerpieces on a Tight Budget

Image
Would you like centerpieces at your next party but not sure if you can afford them? Here's some tips to keep the cost down and still have beautiful flowers! Be flexible on the flower selection; the most economical way to order flowers is to ask for flowers in a color theme, not by flower varieties. As florists, we buy flowers week in and week out directly from our farm sources. They often come in solid flower types but in mixed colors. Buying this way keeps the cost down because we are ordering large quantities in advance allows the farms to sell a lot in whatever color they have blooming at that time. An Elegant Engagement Party at Eno Terra in Kingston

Image
Lavenders, creams and greens ~ I'm in love with this color combination and how perfect are these colors to add a touch of brightness to Eno Terra? Among the long, wood tables we placed multiple floral centerpieces that were created in cylinder vases with purple roses and tulips and mojito hydrangeas with loops of lily grass. Circling the vase were real tropical leaves and the green really popped against the shiny light wood tables.  We especially loved the buffet arrangement with it's additional hanging amaranthus and green cymbidium orchid blooms. If the Engagement party is this pretty, imagine what the wedding will look like!

Sweet and Simple

We love this color combination used to create centerpieces for a wedding reception ~ baby blue hydrangea, pink roses, blue delphinium and pink waxflowers. Styled low in a simple round dish, these centerpieces really looked natural and elegant. Perfect for the setting at the Marriott located in Forrestal Center.  To see this and more of our event design, visit our event websites at www.mondaymorningballoons.com  and/or www.perfectweddingflowers.com

Ocean Themed Bat Mitzvah

We had such a wonderful time designing these Ocean themed centerpieces. Can you guess the flowers used in these floral designs?  What would a bat mitzvah be without the balloons and these fish, dolphin and whale balloons were just the thing to bring the theme into Tre Piani for the party.    To see these and more of our themed event design be sure to visit our event website at www.mondaymorningballoons.com
