Adele and Chris's Lambertville, NJ Wedding

Image
It's always fun to share real weddings with our blog readers and this one is especially rewarding being we will be doing her sister Sarah's wedding next. Working on Adele and Chris's wedding flowers last year was both fun and exciting. We especially loved Adele's wedding bouquet of mini callas, protea, mokara and cymbidium orchids, berzillia berries, orange roses and fiddle ferns. Don't you just love the texture?  Adele and her sister Sarah have a bit of fun. Sarah's wedding is up next and very different than her sisters. But in this photo, the day belonged to Adele.  Adele and Chris seemed amazed by those cute fiddleheads in her bouquet. We're thinking the bouquet would not have been the same without them.  How sweet to have a carriage ride and to take pictures with this beautiful horse right in the heart of Lambertville, NJ.  Lambertville was the perfect back drop. The brown and orange color theme really popped against the fresh green field

Pop It Out!

Recently one of our brides posted this photo on her Facebook and I have to confess, I took it for myself. As I mentioned to the bride Krista, what I love about this photo is that it not only shows the table flowers (which look very cool, I think) but it shows everyone having an amazing time. Rarely, do we get to see our table arrangements "in action" and this one screams - party! What fun and how rewarding for us to know that we helped set the tone for this very important day. By the way, in case you spy the gorgeous views out the window, this wedding took place this past summer at the pretty Lambertville Inn which is situated on the Delaware River, just across from New Hope, PA. Howell Living Farm

Image
Howell Living Farm , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . I thought I'd share a photo I took yesterday while out and about with the hubby. It's not often we both have the day off and unable to sleep in late, we were up and out early! It was a steamy, hot day but we really wanted to get out into some fresh air. After a walk through our favorite flea market we ended up at Howell Living Farm in Lambertville, NJ. Because of the holiday no activities were scheduled but we just enjoyed walking around the farm with our self guided map in hand. I especially love this shot that I got of just an open field. 15 minutes away from where we live and we had never been there! The perfect place to take the kids to show them what life was like 200 years ago on a farm. Sheep, ducks, horses and many elegant and swooping birds over head, it's truly a must see. My only complaint? No flower garden!! :o)
