A Weekend of Parties

We can't believe how many parties we had this past weekend. Everything from Showers, Anniversary and Birthday parties... we really had some fun clients this weekend. Pink was the hot ticket with more than half of them including some shade of pink. Take this piece below at Tre Bar. What a fun arrangement to greet the guests when they arrive. Designer Norman went crazy with the silver and pink on this one!  This gorgeous piece below in shades of creams, pinks and burgundy really looked elegant at the Cranbury Inn. We also loved the small mercury glass cups that also decorated this long, square table.   Designer Holly really did a beautiful job on these pieces, don't you think?  Balloons are always a bit hit for January parties because they add so much color. This Bat Mitzvah held on Saturday at Salt Creek Grill really got a color blast with these lavender, silver and purple polka dot balloons.    This birthday girl must have felt like a queen with these "cr

Flower and Balloon Company

Someone called us the other day and said ~ "What do you do? I don't know what your company does". Hm, I had to think about that and there was a part of me (the Jersey Girl Part) that wanted to come back with "We do air conditioning and carpet cleaning" but as you an imagine, that won't win me any customers. This is not the first time I've been asked that question but our name really does say at least most of what we do. Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Co ~ we do flowers, we do balloons, that's not all but it's a big part!! This past weekend we inflated and delivered 500 helium filled latex balloons in shades of pink for a radio station "Breast Cancer" event. In fact, we inflate over 40,000 helium filled latex balloons every year. Just ask Alanna, Holly and Melissa and they'll show you they have the strong fingers to prove it!  Now yes, we also do flowers. Folks often say "I'll bet most of your flower sales come fr

Marking Milestones with Balloons

It's always fun to open up the paper and see our balloon or flower handy work. In this case a local Princeton business was celebrating their first anniversary with a ribbon cutting and festive balloons. What about this arch that we created for the Trenton Thunder Baseball Team when they wanted to celebrate making it into the playoffs? Flying over 70 feet long, 20 feet above the heads of arriving fans, it sure showed that it was time to celebrate! Spring is one of our busiest times of year for balloon designs such as this arch we created for Mercer County Community Colleges graduation last year. What better way to celebrate a milestone than with balloons! They are big and showy and sometimes it's just what you need to celebrate! Shout it Out!

How fun are these Jumbo letters? Perfect to spell out names for sweet 16's and Mitzvahs, names of businesses or schools or even anniversary years. We sells tons of these over sized letter and at only $25 per letter, you can't ask for more "bang for your buck" than that! Hot Hot Hot Pink

Hot Hot Hot Pink , originally uploaded by Georgianne at Monday Morning Flowers . It's another "Just had to share" moment! Just finished setting up this fun Bat Mitzvah for Hannah's special day over at Occasions in New Hope. Wow, look at that color and don't you just love the linens? So cool! What I love about these arrangements was that the client let us use ceramic containers that are a bit more traditional but really make for an unexpected pop against those crazy linens. Shades of medium to raspberry pink accented with lime green tied the look into the chair pads on all the black chivari chairs. Spiraling silver balloons on the kids tables that were attached to a mirror and had a hot pink jar of gumballs helped to keep the focus in mind - that this is a party for a 13 year old. No overly weddingish decor here. Elegant, quirky and age appropriate, I give this event decor 2 thumbs up!!

Just a Few Balloon Arches to Celebrate the Season!

It's definitely balloon season!! How cool is this big balloon arch that Kevin created this morning for First Choice Bank. The perfect way to kick off a grand opening! Not many retail florists in our area can get this arch set up and ready to go by 7:45 am! We love flowers but we love balloons too! How did this client find out about our services? Apparently the American Heart Association referred us. We love referrals and our business depends on them. Just this past weekend we created 2 spiral arches (just like this one) and 3 column arches for the Heart Walk over at Mercer County Park. That set up took a team of 4 working from 5 AM to about 8 AM to finish before the walkers showed up! People often ask if we do balloons - um, hello -Monday Morning Flower and Balloon Co. Balloons are in our company name and in our blood! On Saturday AM we once again created two large spiral arches in Palmer Square for Princeton Boro's JazzFeast. I love the lime green and black combo on this one

Big Balloons

In case you did not know, Monday Morning Flowers inflates and sells over 40,000 helium filled balloons each and every year. Wow, that's a lot of balloons. Lots of our balloons leave our 2 shops in balloon bouquets but many of them are delivered and arranged for special events, such as this one. Kevin and Sheryl did not have far to go as this surprise party was being held at Tre Bar right here in the Princeton Forrestal Village. What fun it was, tropical colored balloons accented with giant mylars in the shape of a watermelon (inside family joke apparently). Arches and columns also take many balloons and before you know a year goes by and 40,000 balloons get inflated!! Balloons, Balloons and More Balloons!

It's funny how the calendar changes from February to March and suddenly, customers start calling for balloon decor! I love it! Every spring hundreds of balloons leave the shop to decorate for fun events such as Communions, Proms, Sweet Sixteens and Mitzvahs. What better way to usher in spring and celebrate good times than with a balloon arch or clusters of balloons flying high over party tables? Even corporate events such as sales meetings and fund raisers can really benefit from a bit of balloon decor. What else really gives you that kind of "bang for your buck"? Flowers are fun but balloons speak volumns with out breaking the bank. It's especially fun doing themed parties using balloons. Just today we met with a client who is hosting a "movie" themed party. Each table will have a giant cluster of balloons that will look like buttery popcorn flying over a red and white popcorn tub. Fun, but simple and certainly will be memorable! Walk a thons are also bi
