Fall Floral Design Classes in Princeton and Yardley

We have great Fall design classes coming up in both our Princeton  and Yardley locations.  On October 23 rd , from 6-8PM, we will be hosting Pumpkin Floral Arranging in our Princeton store.  Make your home extra festive and create your own floral arrangement in a pumpkin, just in time for Halloween!  Enjoy wine and refreshments while you personalize your home Fall décor.  This class is only $45 per person and includes $10 of Monday Morning Money to spend at your leisure. In our Yardley store, join us on November 7 th from 6-8PM for Fall Floral Design and create and arrangement to resemble an apple cinnamon martini!  What would the night be if we didn’t serve the delicious drink itself for the occasion!?  Enjoy refreshments and martinis as your create a great piece for your décor and receive instruction that will allow you to design your own arrangements at home.  This class is only $45 per person and includes $10 of Monday Morning Money. Flowers, Family and the Holidays

We love holidays here at the shop, not only because they can be a very busy time for us (which means business is good) but we love what our flowers "bring" to these special days. Even as florists we love having and sharing our floral designs with family over the holidays. Take my niece Mary Ann who absolutely adored this "bunny" floral arrangement. Not only did she carry it around but she was seen petting the "bunny" many times in the course of the Easter celebration. How gratifying it was for me to provide her with this first floral experience.  The holiday dinner table wouldn't be complete without a floral centerpiece and gauging by how many Easter centerpieces we sold this year, our customers felt that same way. Who says kids don't appreciate flowers? Floral Centerpieces and the Holidays

 At our shop, both Thanksgiving and Christmas are quite busy times for us with folks wanting to send and receive floral centerpieces for their dinner tables. When I talk to other shops from around the country, some are busier than us while others say that no one in their area is interested in having flowers for their home during the holiday season. What camp do you fall under? Do you like to have flowers on your table? What about sending flowers to family and friends that you are not able to share the holiday with?  As you can see by the photo of Kevin above, our shop was quite busy during the Thanksgiving holiday and this photo was taken on Wednesday and although it was not all the deliveries that we made, just the first round of deliveries for the 4 drivers working that day.  For me, I can't imagine not having something fresh on my dining room table and that goes back to long before I was in the floral business.
