Our bridal bouquet ~ known through out the online wedding world as the Funky Peacock Feather Bouquet, was chosen to be used on the Wedding Brochure for the Philadelphia Zoo. This bouquet has been in countless magazines and industry blogs and we were honored they wanted to use it as their showpiece on the cover. The Philadelphia Zoo reached out to us for permission after seeing the photo on Flickr and were happy to allow them to use it. Created about 6 years ago for a bridal couple hosting their wedding at the Lambertville Inn, this photo was taken by Jeff Tisman Photography. Yes, the funky peacock feather bouquet was ours! I write that line a bit tongue in cheek because one of our bouquets has become famous and known as the "Funky Peacock Feather" bouquet. Ah, peacock feathers, definately not for the faint of heart but when used correctly - Wow! This bouquet created for our bride Stephanie really speaks to people when they see it. They may not be brave enough to choose it for themselves but everyone agrees it's beautiful and memorable. Even the groom wore a small peacock feather. Talk about being trend setters! Traditional floral elements like the roses and stephanotis above are taken to the next level with these soft white ostrich feathers. Bride Jennifer loved the soft texture these added to the edge of her bouquet and they also complimented her soft tulle skirting. The simple act of adding some rhinestones really take this bouquet from ordinary to extraordinary.
