Funky Peacock Feather Bouquet

Yes, the funky peacock feather bouquet was ours! I write that line a bit tongue in cheek because one of our bouquets has become famous and known as the "Funky Peacock Feather" bouquet. I posted a photo almost 3 years ago onto my Flickr account and did not watermark or protect it in any way. Almost 10,000 views later that bouquet seemed to have caused the most buzz. I've seen it used so many times (mostly without credit to our shop - no worries, I'm not angry about that) in blogs and online. I thought it would be fun to show some of the other photos from that wedding. I often get asked if we really did that bouquet. Yes and here's the proof! The bride was Stephanie and the photographer was Jeff Tisman and the bride came to me very close to her October wedding date. Why? Because she was afraid that the florist would talk her out of using peacock feathers in her wedding. That was before she knew me and found out how much I love doing, not only what the bride wants, but things that are a bit different!  Let's face it, she was ahead of a very big trend, don't you think? Again, don't mind if you borrow them but credit for my shop and Photographer Jeff would be wonderful!
A great shot from above. I love her smile here.
I've actually used this shot on our wedding site on the Gallery page.
This photo really shows the texture and variety of this bouquet.
Stephanie and her girls. I loved the pop of purple in the bouquets which was also used in the floral centerpieces at the Lambertville Inn.
This is the famous shot that people email and call me about. Actually, this was just a cropped shot that originally had both the bride and groom in it. It really shows the bouquet, as it was meant to be seen - from the side. OMG!!! I was at a wedding last night and the bouquet looked just like that...here in Chicago!! I'll have to tell the bride that I know the originator of those lovely petals!! :D

That is too funny! I'm glad this bouquet has been so copied, it's the highest compliment I could have. I've had florists from around the world say that brides have brought it to them as inspiration. :o)
Wow! What a bouquet!! I loved this so much, I posted it to my facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/Annie.Fentz
