With the holiday season around the corner and many folks struggling to meet, it's been our pleasure to provide our customers with a convenient drop off location for non-perishable food items. Until November 15th, any food collected will be donated to the Plainsboro Food Pantry . Next up will be South Brunswick Food Pantry from 11/16 until 11/30. If you are in the area and can donate any non-perishable food items, we'd be so grateful and as our way of saying thanking you, you will receive $5 worth of Monday Morning Money to spend however you like in our store.  Thank you again to everyone who has already stopped in with a donatio n! 

In the floral industry we hear all kinds of stories; some joyous, some somber. A few weeks ago I received a call from a man who worked at another flower shop .  He needed to send a personal floral gift and he needed it in a hurry. Through the conversation he told me that the recipient of the gift was on her death bed… terminal cancer and did not have much longer to live. He wanted to send a few mixed orchid plants in a large glass or ceramic container and said it needed to arrive the next day as early as possible. As promised, we delivered the orchid arrangement just before noon. I called him back to let him know the delivery had been made so that he would not worry.  He thanked me for taking care of this so quickly and I thanked him in return for trusting this important personal order to our shop to fill. Wow, I truly can not believe it's November. And with that, comes the time of year we will be asking our customers to consider shopping with us on Small Business Saturday. In addition to having a store wide sale that day, we hope to be having food, fun and "free stuff" for the kids! It's another busy weekend here at the shop and had to share one of this weekends wedding bouquets. The bouquet below is for the bride and is made using cream garden roses, beige colored Sahara roses, craspedia and chocolate cosmos.
