Who Wants a Pink Wedding?

Image
We do, we do and so does our Bride Heidi and her new hubby Michael who were married Saturday in Lambertville NJ !!  Starting with Heidi's bridal bouquet of soft ivory tea roses, dahlias and peony. The bride's maid's carried bouquets of soft creamy white hydrangea and pale pink Valerie roses.   The reception was held at the Lambertville Station Inn in and the guest tables had 3 different styles of centerpieces including this one of crystal candle holders and pink flowers.   Mirrored cube vases filled lushly with pink hydrangea and roses .   The head table boasted a centerpiece that was 12 feet long filled with pink hydrangeas, peony and roses.   The place card table was a soft dome of all pink hydrangeas with hanging crystals.

The Succulent Trend Continues

Image
My name is Georgianne and I'm a flower person. Yes. I have now said it, I love flowers and it doesn't matter the color, shape, type, style ~ you name it I love it. This weekend has us creating floral designs for 3 weddings including this one shown here. Designing with succulents still seems to be a trend that is not going away. This wedding for bride Carla will have using elegant but organic textured flowers such as dahlias, tea and garden roses, hydrangeas with touches of dusty miller and cut succulents. Be sure to check our wedding website early next week to see more photos from this amazing wedding .

Recital Flowers

Image
It's that time of year where those adorable kids will be performing their hearts out! It wouldn't be recital time without fresh presentation flower bouquets and what little girl doesn't want to receive them at the end of a wonderful performance!  They dance and play their little hearts out, don't they deserve flowers ? We think so!  Why not let us create something adorable, just for them? We can match their costume or special attire like this one with little lady bugs that perfectly matched the ballerina's costume. Our talented designers can match almost any theme. Call us or stop in and we'd be thrilled to help you!

Scenes from a May Farm Wedding

Image
The sun is shining and we have finished setting up another Farm Wedding in Hopewell so we had to share a few of the unique elements that both we and the bridal family created! Below is a pretty close up of Bride Brittany's Bridal Bouquets (say that 10 times fast). Created using cut succulent plants, cream stock, lavender spray roses, queen anne's lace, purple waxflower and a very pale lavender hydrangea.  The driveway leading to the farm is long so we placed hanging mason jars of flowers lining  ~ these even have a light in the bottom to glow as guests leave in the evening!   The family really got creative and hung a few ladders from the garage ceiling with lanterns! This must have looked amazing when the light came down!  Here's something fun! The farm ordered a few bales of hay that were 4 feet tall and we created huge letters made from fresh moss in honor of the bride and groom! After the wedding , the hay will feed to horses!  Once inside un...
