Another month of fun Instagram photos. Thought I'd share the behind the scenes from December!  Here a photographer posts a photo of a bridal bouquet we created in November and we share it on our feed!  Our Princeton store decorated for the holiday season!  Kevin and Alanna build a balloon archway for a non-profit awards breakfast in Woodbridge. This is a new frame for us and it really turned out great. It's 12 feet tall!!  A winter wedding of teals and white, snowflakes and birch branches at Old York Country Club in Bordentown, NJ.  A 3 foot tall boxwood tree decorated with real peacock feathers  for the Princeton Residence Inn. Even the ribbon had the peacock feather design!  We held 3 design classes during the month of December including this wreath making class. It's that time of year. Can you believe it's less than 2 weeks to Christmas ? It's warm outside today as I write this but it's very festive and wintry at the shop. Here's a peek into our world this month! This morning I added a table of gift ideas and stocking stuffers under $10. Candy, nuts and cookies along with ornaments, mugs, figurines and more.   This week's $5 Friday were winter bouquets of carnations, thistle berries and baby's breath.   We still have lots of Christmas signs, boxwood trees and wreaths.   Today we made a star arch for an awards breakfast.  We just got in some new jewelry like this stone necklace for only $9.99  Gold mercury glass is all the rage and we have them in different shapes and sizes.   It's the time of year when Bling is In!   Lots and lots of poinsettia's waiting to be delivered in the drivers ramp.   On December 7th we hosted a holiday centerpiece design class and the ladies ha

Happy Saturday! I sincerely hope everyone out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I did! For us today really kicks off the season of holiday buying and it's starts with Small Business Saturday . Today has us offering 25% everything in the store and we offered a discount to our online shoppers as well.  Admittedly our holiday season tends to get stronger the closer the holiday comes with our strength being our ability to help our customers send holiday love at the last minute.   It's still fun for us to start decking the halls (although we don't formally decorate our shops until the first week of December) and we have lots of holiday themed house and giftwares available. The winter and Christmas themed holiday wreaths, centerpieces and poinsettia orders will start hot and heavy by Mid Decembe r too.   We've had a few browser in our Princeton and Yardley shops today and truthfully with most folks still shopping at the malls, we often pick up those

 Have you met Tara? She works in our Yardley shop on Saturdays (she's student) and has been a great addition to our team. Today she helped out in the shop to assist our Thanksgiving Customers!  Driver Donna is part time and such a wonderful team member. See that smile? She's always eager to help and always with a smile! Yup, you've seen Jeff running the store, processing flowers and creating bouquets for customers. Or perhaps you have opened your door to his smiling face as he makes a deliver to you. Alanna loves Instagram so it was an easy decision when I needed "Social Media" help to have Alanna come to my rescue. She loves breezing around the shop taking pictures to share, creating inspirational quotes and following our clients and business neighbors on this fun application.   First I get a picture of Alanna and her wreath creation to post on Google+ and Facebook and then she's right behind me getting a shot for Instagram .  If you like what's she's posting, we'd love for you to follow our page and like our photos!! 

As they will do, Wedding Trends come and go and an upcoming trend I've noticed for the balance of 2015 into 2016 is the trend of using gold in the wedding designs. Whether is touches of gold foliage or gold toned bowls and dishes, the warm tones of gold seem to be in style for both summer and winter weddings.  Last weekend's wedding included touches of gold foliage and berries mixed among the peach, pink and cream colored flowers. These centerpieces really looked gorgeous among the warm tones of the chairs and carpet.  I can't wait to see the photographers professional photos from this wedding! 

Can you believe it's already August 7th? We sure can't! This week has been a busy one for us creating floral designs for 3 gorgeous weddings and lots of daily deliveries. Take this floral design for example. Garden and tea roses, hydrangeas, orchids, hypericum berries, asiatic lilies and queen anne's lace combine to make a stunning floral centerpiece for a birthday party being held at Jasna Polana Country Club tomorrow.  Brightly colored flowers are not only popular for daily deliveries but today's wedding consisted of pinks, creams and peaches. Saturday's wedding is simple shades of white, greens and creams and Sunday we'll be using all white, lavender and purple flowers. If you received flowers right now, what color would you want them to be? Know someone having a birthday? Why not send them a bouquet of gorgeous flowers from our shop ? We'd love to help you... Who says a floral design has to have tons of flowers to be memorable. Take this floral design as an example. Hope you are all having a fabulous summer . The weather has been touch and go but the pace here at the shop has slowed down and now begins the work of cleaning, organizing and planning for the fall. Look for our listing of in store Design Workshops for the holiday seasons ahead being kicked off by our Christmas in July event on July 31st. More information on that later in the month! For now, the shop is full of gorgeous flowers and fun new gift items so I thought I'd share! Happy 21st! We've had wine glasses for ladies now we have beer glasses for the guys!   Ballet items sell all year round for us (must be because of the ballet studio here in the Village) so we've done a little Ballet themed display of figurines, bears, jewelry, mugs and frames!   We love lace flower and this Green Mist is especially gorgeous this week!   It's all about angels and girlie gift with fresh smelling candles from Aunt Sadies, teapots and cups and adorable signs for the ho
